What is this for?

I was looking under the bike after a 500 mile ride and noticed this. It is located on the driver side right by the driver floorboard. Is there something missing in there? Hope not.165291

Saw same post not long ago. This is the shift shaft used on other models. Would have a shift arm or shift pedal but in your case not used. Good thing is now that you know where it is should you ever need to shift gears with the engine off you can use it...:thumbup:
