My wife has a Uclear helmet setup on her 2018 F3L. She has been able to connect her helmet to the bike. The bike sees the Uclear (icon shows the helmet on the bike). The issue she is having is that she does not hear anything through her headset. She does hear the music though the bike speakers but not though the headset. She does not hear the Genius maps in either the bike speakers or the headset.

She has unpaired the headset from the bike so that she can hear her music from her phone to the headset.

Any ideas how to get the music and Genius maps through the headset?

There was a thread about that. BRP does't allow sound to go to headset even when paired. The pairing of the phone + USB is so you can listen to tunes in your phone from the bike speakers. She should able to hear sound, again from the speakers, from Genius maps. Once you plug the phone to the USB, the phone think you are listening through headphone and automatically reduces the volume to save your hearing from damages. Make sure volume on the phone is all the way up.

You have to choose BT instead of speakers in the settings. To hear audio from phone in headset.

The FM and AUX music is only heard thru the speakers but the phone's music as well as Genius maps alerts can be piped into the headset. As Billybovine says, heck the bluetooth settings in the dash menu.
