I heard this song on the radio yeasterday. I remember the words and sang along. What a great song. They had this one #1 hit and no more. Guy had a great voice too.

That song was popular about 1968 I think. That was just about the same time I became old enough to buy beer (legally) so memory is a little fuzzy from those days.....:ohyea:

Well, I looked it up and 2525 was number one in July 1969. The same time that Armstrong and Aldrin first walked on the Moon and coincides with the date I was discharged from USMC and bought a brand new Mustang fastback GT. Lots to celebrate back then so no wonder the years kinda blur together.

Yup, Zager and Evans. Summer of 69; My freshman year of high school. I recall hearing that song on the school bus AM radio.:thumbup:
