I all Spyderman

I have a Spyder RT limited 2014 for three weeks,
I would like to know why there is a detector under the seat or is the passenger, what it serves, what ist is job ?? :yikes:

I'm no expert but just thinking you maybe talking about the connectors for the heated seat?

Works like the ones in your car that activate the passenger airbag. Make sure it is connected or you will get warning lights.

Thank you all for your answers, I have not yet the book of the mechanic, I begin to study I will maintain it myself, I had to sell my GoldWing 1800 I have too much arthritis at the feet.
But I do not regret having made the jump on a spyder rt ltd.:clap::thumbup:

No, the Air Bag adjustment is by the ACS system Position Sensor and tie rod that connect to the Swing arm

All of the above is true but for my two cents - when I installed a new seat I forgot to reattach that connection, and I got nanny upset and she yelled at me via the dashboard light and an error code. I reconnected the wires and she calmed down.
