Bump for the Vintage Motorcycle Ride, Show, and Swap Meet June 13-14 at the Gilmore Car Museum in Hickory Corners, Michigan (posted on the Michigan board). If you've been to this event, you know it is a great destination for a ride, with up to 3,000 spectator motorcycle showing up annually, with spectator motorcycle parking adjacent to the show field. The vintage bike show is one of the largest in the area, and has literally hundreds of gorgeous old bikes. The Museum also has a "History of Drag Racing" exhibit this year, that features some splendid cars, as well as some of E.J. "Michigan Madman" Potter's old race bikes. Well worth the $8 spectator admission...or enter a pre-1989 bike if you have one.

Vintage motorcycle ride Saturday June 13 for bikes 1988 and older. Show and swap meet Sunday June 14. Hope to see some of you there. Don't let Nancy have the only Spyder this year.

Glad you folks are feeling better enough to go enjoy yourselves at this event!

Don't forget--when you're up to it, you had promised you'd restore my 1974 XL 175.

Just as soon as I find that space I reserved for it in my garage. :roflblack:

Don't know if we will be able to enjoy ourselves, our BMW club sponsors it, and we have to work. Survival will be sufficient.

As I recall, you were gonna put my bike on the shelf right next to your case of new BRP synth blend oil.
