Have seen it mentioned but good reminder for those that have not had it done yet. There will be more ironing out I'm sure but to keep it going you need to keep it up to date...

It is good to see BRP being pro-active on this one. Thank you Joe for the heads up.

A sad day, indeed, when one spends $30K for something that won't deliver on the marketing and sales hype.

It would be smart to have these updates via a smartphone app. I bet the techs are hating these now.

I was at my dealer Wednesday and he didn't mention anything about the update. How can I found out what version is on my bike? Thanks.

Go to the settings menu, gear icon. Then choose ? Icon. The version will be on that screen.

The correct term is reactive. Better late than never.

Yeah the sync in my 60k Ford truck still doesn't do all that it was supposed to do.
It's not just BRP that falls through.

It's not just BRP that falls through.

Never had issues with basic functionality in my Ford or Lincoln vehicles, especially with fundamental performance behavior like remembering synced devices. And both vehicles came with a comprehensive owner's manual which BRP apparently forgot.

If BRP could produce a device that we could plug into the computer outlet on the bike that we could use to connect the smartphone to that would allow a WiFi update. That would really make up for the bike’s failures.

In just picked up my '18 RTL yesterday and noticed the avg MPG stuck at 70. Also noticed that I have no cruise icon on the dash. There are also some glitches in BRP connect (once you're in an ap there's no apparent way to close it or switch aps without going to the phone). My screen shows version 10.03 so it looks like I'm a little behind. I'll take it in to get it flashed and see what happens.

If you just picked up a brand new 2018, then the dealer dropped the ball, it definitely should have been updated to the latest version (13.20) before delivery.

To get out of BRP Connect from the handle bar, press the button on the front side of the left hand grip, if you're familiar with the Spyder, it used to be the PTT (push to talk button).

There is no indication on the dash if cruise is on or off, only when it is engaged.
