Who all from Michigan are headed to Deadwood? We are leaving from the Metro Detroit area tomorrow. Safe travels, and hope for cooler weather.

Leaving south central WI at 5am Sunday....probably just take I-90 all the way. (boring) We're cheating, and trailering out....Getting packed and loaded today:yes:

The WI and MN portions of I-90 are not to bad, but after you get into SD past Sioux Falls, its about 300 miles of nothing. When the Badlands start appearing--then its good stuff most of the way.

I found the 20 mile detour into Mitchell not to be that great either. The famous "Corn Palace" not so great. A building decorated with corn--nice to see, and very artistic--but that was pretty much it.
