A true sign of the times. Think typewriter and dial telephones. Most do not have a clue.

When I was substitute teaching many years ago, I had a classroom that still had an old Underwood manual typewriter. I decided to load it with a piece of paper (during the study hall), and commence typing. I put on a real show for them. Got lots of wow's.

Look at how fast he is, (about 70 wpm) in those days, he don't even look at the keys or paper, check out how he slams that thingy (carriage) when the bell goes off...etc. etc. etc. :roflblack::roflblack: That was good for keeping them quiet for about 10 minutes.

Those were the days.

My 10 year old granddaughter was typing on my father's old typewriter that he bought in the 1940's. All of a sudden she stopped and said, "Grandpa, this is wireless." Amazing how kids look at things.
