have waved to a bike in your regular 4 wheeled vehicle?

I came real close today and caught myself. LOL.

I actually laughed out loud to myself.

Now be honest here!!!

There is an Island in the San Juan Islands in Washington State nick named "The Friendly Island". Lopez, Is. "Everyone" waves to "everyone". Driving a 4 wheeler, the wave is done by raising 2 fingers from the steering wheel to a vehicle going the opposite direction. Anyone not complying is reported to the "friendly police" and banished to the mainland...... so it is rumored. BTW, I wave at anyone and am sure have done so in the 4 wheeler on many occasions. It just happens.....

I'll wave just from my drivewaynojoke useually when I fetch the mail, 1 or two may pass by. Both my bikes can be clearly seen from road as well as my watch for motorcycles yard sign.161709 & usally I even get a wave back :doorag::ohyea: , so ya in car or not it's almost like reflex now. Hate it when all too often there's a :spyder2: across intersection going opposite direction & I am all unnoticed in car. (I'm not the only spyder in town I know , but meeting the others has just not worked out, feels lonely & 1 I had meet just traded for a wing)

The two times I was passed by a Syder, I stuck my arm out the window and gave the rider the old thumbs up.

:agree: I'll give a "Thumbs-Up" to a fellow Spyder Ryder; not to other bikes.

YesIhave waved to the occasional bike. I have been known to honk the horn repeatedly to a passing Spyder,I have even been known to chase down a Spyder I didnt recognize,to say hello and find out about their trip or if they are a new owner in the area. Met a new friend that way Friday.

I have to other spyders. Although they are getting more popular this year, there haven't been a lot around here, so when i see one, i wave.

I do if a bike is passing me or the other way around. Nothing wrong with that. Be friendly, always!!!!!!!
