fuel and temp gage

I have a 2010 rt. The fuel gauge pegged and the temp gauge both started not working at the same time. I unplugged both of them so my digital gauges work. Anyone have a reason this happened. I have not been able to get them to work.

If one of them stops working: they both quit. :banghead:
Perhaps you just had a loose connection to one of them... :dontknow:
