View Full Version : FOBO Users: What low/high range do you use?

Just installed the FOBO Bike for Trike set on my Spyder, and am happy to have a cleaner, easier end to The Great Quest to Check the Rear Tire Pressure. I set up my target pressures at the recommended levels, and only gave it +/- 2 psi for the low and high alarm settings.

I live in Texas, so you can guess where this is heading: the temperature on Saturday was warm, but not unusually so, and once the tires warmed up I started getting the high pressure alerts on all three. I guess 2 psi in either direction is just too narrow a range, so what do you use for your high and low pressure settings? Thanks for your input.

I'm bumping this because I'd love to get more intelligent input than my own on this. I've got FOBO set up on our RT, and set the target pressure on all three tires. I set the alarm pressure (for high or low) at 2psi in either direction.

That appears to be too narrow; the temps here are now around 85-90 and I'm getting the high pressure alert on all three on fairly short rides.

How much upper/lower room should I be giving? Thanks.

I have a 2016 RT-S. It still has Kenda tires front and back.

My settings are:
Front 16 20 24. I usually run 17-18 psi.
Rear 24 28 32. I usually run 28 psi and I get high warnings so I'll have to change it.

Hope this helps. YMMV.
