Hey Deanna,

I like your farkles, especially the stainless grills. Where did you get them if I might ask? And, perhaps foolishly, I have to ask about the ring and line at the upper rear of the grill in the left side photograph?

We installed the trunk organizers in both our Spyders before launching on our San Antonio to Tucson/Bisbee and back home again trip. They're worth their weight in gold especially when the trunk is full and you find yourself searching for something small.

Nicely done!

Nicely done! HI,

I got the stainless grills from Pierre ( info.@SpyderTV.net (info.@SpyderTV.net) or Canamspyder accessories.com) or (514)-617-4788. Also, you they might be at a Spyder events.

The ring/and the line on the upper rear of the grill in on the left side is attached to a Gremlin bell.

I have already put the trunk organizer to use.

Thanks for the info. Do you still have snow on the ground? Folks at Moosehead Lake, Maine (our summer home) don't believe spring is ever going to come. The lake is still largely frozen and there's enough snow for another winter. Hope it's gone by the time we arrive in late May!

I don't have any snow on the ground, but in the mountains there is still some snow. Today the temps were in the 60's to 70's. I was thinking the same thing 2 week-ends ago. ( we had a snow storm) and spyder was still in hibernation. I woke up my spyder this past week-end.

Here is a picture of my latest farkle: 16091012 spoke wheel kit-Cognac.

I did not remove the wheel to install the 12 spoke kit. I did not have any problems doing the install. I took my time installing these. They came with installation instructions.

Hi Deanna,
Thanks. Ordered Today.
So you started the installation from the center, as per instruction, and not from the top of the spike. Is this easy to have spikes terminating at the same place this way?

kind regards,

kind regards,[/QUO HI, Yes, I did start the installation from the center, and used the squeegie to push any bubbles out. Yes, it is easy to have the spikes terminating at the same place.

I also placed them on the ground ( before I installed them on the spyder, I did not remove the paper from the back of them) When I installed them on the bike, I removed the paper from the back of the spikes.

Post a picture of yours.
What color did you order?

What spyder model do you have?

Deanna,
no pictures to post. I am definitively not good installing those spikes.
I tried 3 of them and could not do it right (it is true that I did not remove the weel).
I guess that those kind of precise fit is not for me ... I gave up.

At least you tried to install them.

Do you have someone else install them?

Are you glued down of Velcroed? The heat controller is Velcro down. Use a strong/heavy Velcro. I usually put the cord around the key, so it does not fall.

Post a picture of yours when you get it done.

I have helped a lot of spyder owners on this site.

Example: painted dashboard, ( that Blueknight911 painted for me) The D.E.S.S. key code thread, rear trunk LED lighting, and etc.
