Ordered my hindle today. Is that powder coated?
I painted my stock muffler all black and I think that makes it look better also. :thumbup:

I am going to be painting the heat shield on mine red. I just haven't gotten around to it yet. Maybe tonight.

tatt2r - Over time, you may find that the grill paint will burn off. If it does, here what I wound up using on later versions of my mufflers and pipes... holds up very well:

Looks great. Anything on that Spyder that isn't black is really going to end up standing out very nicely.

Tat...what is that cover/deflector on top of the muffler? Did it come with the muffler, bought elsewhere, or made yourself?

+1. Its what I used to paint my stock tailpipe black. After over 1,000 miles, it still looks good.

Speaking of heat shields - anyone else have the smaller heat shield on the Hindle coming loose? Mine rattles around a bit - didn't notice until I rode sans helmet.
