I hope someone can point me in the right direction. A long while back I remember seeing someone was selling a chrome or stainless bar that attaches via those two bolts on top of the RT dash. I believe it had spyder cut out in it. Can someone remember who/company that was. Been looking ---- but no luck.
Thank's in advance
Johnny.

With the sun behind you the reflection/ glare might be a bit much. The ones you can purchase above are flat black. I painted the aluminum one I made---- plane and simple----works perfect.

:agree: As much as I like "Shiny": I sure don't like the glare produced by reflected sunlight...

I ordered mine last week, had it by Friday, had it installed in less than 15 minutes on Saturday. Added a Ram Mount 3" extension along with a Ram Mount X-Grip for my phone.

I bought one of these and installed it on my 2015 RT-S. Easy to install and love the way it looks. I have one problem that I figure can be solved. My ram arms will not tighten enough on the slick ram balls that came with the dash mount. As I drive the arm continues to slip until my GPS is bouncing on my dash. Anyone else experience this?

Take a pair of Vise Grips, and wrap the teeth in a piece of denim...
You'll be able to grab the knob, and give it a serious twist with that setup!

I've lost ALL strength in my hands, and this trick works for me...

Make sure the balls don't have aluminium threads. I twisted 2 right off doing this.

JT’s dash mount here.
I had attempted to use just Ram mounts to get my Zumo 550 up and over the dash but the long arm was an inch too short. JT’s Dash Mount adds a spacer that moved the Ram ball up enough that the Zumo plate misses the dash. Perfect.

Made mine from some aluminum plate I had as leftover. Painted it with black Plasti Dip.
If I had to buy, it would have been JT's

I am just wondering how everyone routes there phone charger cables etc. up to this dash mount. I have yet to take the plastic off for my first oil change. I was originally thinking of mounting my x grip on the hand grip but like this idea a lot better Thanks guys

I ran the power cord for my GPS up through the swing arm slot for the windscreen. It has been there for 2 years, and no issues.

That was what I was thinking but was afraid of the raising and lowering of the windscreen would hurt them Thanks again
