Pierre at Can Am Spyder Accessories makes a good plug and play harness. I use his harness, tho I did modify it to five wire as my trailer is a five wire.

I used Pierre at www.canamspyderaccessories.com for mine.

With his plug and play harness and the awesome step by step video, it worked out perfectly for me.

The problem with Can Am Spyder accessories trailer harness is the module he is using. It is unpowered and does not isolate the trailer from the Spyder. So depending on the trailer and the lights it has. You may get hyper flash of the signal or hazard lights when the trailer is connected. This has been report on a couple of threads. If you get a short circuit in one of the trailer circuits. The lights on the same circuit on the Spyder will fail with an orange screen and failures messages. For a couple dollars more he could have used the correct isolation converter and these potential problems will be avoided. No hyper flash. Any shorts in the trailer and the the trailer lights will fail. But the Spyder lights will not be affected.

I went back and found I ordered from SHOWCHROME (off EBAY). Came with a relay board, and a heavy wire to run up to battery. I can hear the relays clicking when signals are on. I have read MANY forums where using the existing wiring caused failures of the module (due to grounding I think over time).
