back while I was serving my "Collegiate Sentence": we used to listen to the "Doctor Demento" hour on WYSP.
They used to play the stuff that paved the way for today's comedic musicians. :bowdown:

We used to have a radio station in the So. Bay ( San Francisco ). It was truly irreverent and very funny. The good Dr was played regularly. The FCC finally revoked their license but I still have their last 6 hours on tape. "Moose Turd Pie" and " I love my Cupcakes" are some of the best.

KFAT was the wide spot on the dial.
