Good reminder to make the most every moment. Glad everyone was okay.

After watching the video again, the patrol car went through a field rather than going through a ditch. Still scary stuff.

A lot easier than riding a highway snow plow down a 100 foot cliff to avoid an errant semi like happened here a couple of winters ago.

Firefox must not like whatever video format they use. All I see is a static pic.

Good for that cop!

This makes me wonder what would have been the better choice for the truck-diver. Stay in your lane and cream the car that pulled out in front of you or cross into the oncoming lane with oncoming traffic. :dontknow:

Thinking of the car that pulled out - that reminds us all to give ourselves plenty of stopping room on winter roads. :lecturef_smilie:

Close for sure....:yikes: but if you want to see some that did not make it check out the Russian videos. I think they all have video cams and drive around all day filming the mishaps....

I am very glad for the driver in the video. Good decision, great reflexes and no panic in a bad situation.

I was not that fortunate.... But fortunate still...

Yes. Maybe I should pull that one. Just showing that there wasn't much incursion into the cab at least.

Lots of lessons to be learned from this. Be careful out there.:thumbup:
