a heated seat would be nice but a bubble would be better

43* here right now, predicted high of 82*. Not sure yet if I'm going to ride or play golf. Wind speed are supposed to reach 30mph today, so that diminishes the fun on either one a bit.

Did ride 200+ miles yesterday with an old high school buddy that I had not seen in 40 years until three weeks ago when he tracked me down on the internet and showed up at my shop on a bike.

We had a great ride around the Tx Panhandle (but on two wheels not three--well four if you count both bikes :yikes: )

It is 18 degrees tonight, it is suppose to be in the 40's this week. Had to shovel the porch. It was snowing here also.

We have snow on the ground, my local ski area's have snow. This week the temps in the 40's, and possible rain.

Today, in the arctic north (southern Minnesota) it was 60 degrees and sunny. We did have steady winds in the 30mph range with gusts in the low 50s. Not nice to be out in for any length of time but, we still have not had to shovel anything.

the Monday ride into the work area , the temps were just to " lets say " it felt damp in the air , it was 32 , but I called off the ride into work , did not wish to get bone chilled , ( man I hate those , feel the cold set into the bones for hours ) BUT , did get to ride that after noon , in the mid 60`s for the afternoon highs . now Tuesday , it is 40 lows , and think it is going to be a super day , ride the 3 wheels into work ! ( looking at the weather , looks like maybe 2 more days here and there for comfortable riding , then a bit damp for the next couple weeks )

Don't know what you guys are talking about. Here in sunny Queensland the temp is reaching 30degC (86F). ;)

However it is raining today. Must order heated seat for next winter (wifes bum getting cold).

Cheers

I started our weekly group ride this morning with a heavy jacket. By lunch time, traded for a light jacket. And by ice cream break time went with no jacket. Got to be flexible.....

Have ridden through 11 winters here in Baltimore before getting the Spyder this year and although I use heated gear, a seat was never one of them. Never felt it was necessary even on the sub-20° days.

In cold weather it's never my a$$ that gets cold

Is it cold where I live?? Funny you should ask - after some unseasonably early high temps a week or so back, we've been getting some really cold weather for this time of year! Just over a week ago we had a whole week of over 36 degree temps, then this week it's all been mid 20's during the day & down below 20 overnight, even dropped to 16 degrees one night!!

Oh, sorry, we use degrees Centigrate here in Aus!! This time of year in South Aus/Adelaide Hills it's usually mid 20's of a night time with temps up to the mid 30's during the day - our 36 & up temps don't usually kick in until Christmas/New Year, & having more than just the odd day of 36-38 or over is not all that common until mid-summer, but we've broken a few records this year already, a 9 day streak of over 36 degrees heat & then straight back to having to rug up once the sun goes down!! Altho our rugging up usually means long sleeves & trousers instead of just shorts!

So while it's been cold here, I don't think I'll be calling with an order for a seat heater just yet Dave! Planning on spending some of next winter ryding in our Snowy Mountains tho, so maybe then... ;)

I know your question is rhetorical, but I'm responding with "NO" in the hopes of being "made wrong". Let nature cry out in disdain and deliver rain and winter to Southern Arizona.
