What I would like to see is a road crew trying to fill a fake pothole.

I ran into a real one just like the above on the Alcan Highway. They had painted a neon green line around it to warn people about it. It was deeper than a bathtub. Sure glad I saw that one in the daytime. A nighttime encounter would have not been good. :yikes::yikes:

On the contrary ... I can assure you that Canada ... Manitoba in particular ... also uses the 3D method!

The nasty winter weather must be hell on those poor road crews. But last time I drove through Montreal their roads weren't so hot either. (And by the time I had translated the road signs I had already hit the pothole)

I was riding through Lake Mead National Recreation Area a few years ago and came upon a really big heave in the road right at the apex of a curve, it seemed really dangerous for anyone on two wheels so I made a note of the mile marker and told a ranger about it at the park entrance. He said thanks we know it’s there and we have made a red mark around it. On my return I looked for the red mark and it was there but certainly not visible in time for you to avoid it. Thankfully it has since been repaved.
