I just read, the bumpski ban did not pass in Illinois. Hard to believe, but they must realize it wouldn't make any difference Good for Illinois.

I am afraid that most, if not all of this flurry to pass gun legislation is just to make people feel better. It isn't going to do anything to resolve the problem. The people who they are trying to keep guns away from are always going to have them no matter how illegal you make it. The only thing it will do for sure is deprive the law abiding citizen.

It would be easier to end all traffic accidents by banning vehicle ownership.... They are already working on banning drivers...
