I have a chance to pick up a set of F3 front wheels with tires for a really good price and wondered if they will fit on an RT that has 14" wheels?

I have a buddy that is in the process of trying to find some financing on my current RT and he likes the look of the F3 wheels.

I believe that the F3 has 15 inch wheels, as do newer models of the RT (13 to 18)

You're right on that but I was wondering about putting them on the older RT models that have the 14" wheels. The tire sizes are really close.

175/65-14 on the older models
165/55-15 on the newer models

The newer model sizes should be a little narrower and shorter. I just wanted to make sure first off. that the lug pattern was still the same and second to make sure the 15" tires would fit under the fenders.

"Fit" is not the only consideration when changing tire sizes. The tire size will also affect the ABS brake function. I'm not sure exactly what will happen, but be careful.

The 2 different sizes are very close in size even though the wheel size is different. I just mainly want to see if anyone has done it and if the bolt pattern is the same and if they will fit under the fenders.

i put the silver F3 wheels on mine and am now running the chrome version.
i assume they would fit 2013 on up rt's.

if the rim size is compensated with the tire size they work just fine. On the ones you mention the 15"'s are narrower and lower and the rim bigger than the 14"'s so you should be fine with speedometer etc. the only consideration is the different calipers if you go to the older models that did not have the brembo brakes.

Are you thinking the calipers or brake discs may interfere with the 15" wheels? The discs should be a touch smaller since I have 14" wheels now.

I looked up the tires sizes and the 165/55-15 are 1.3% or 0.3" smaller in diameter, width is the same and the circumference is 1.3% or 1" smaller. So everything looks as though they are very close in size. I guess the lug pattern is the same.

It should work just fine. However, like was stated, I don't think the 14" will fit on the newer models due to the larger Brembo brake calipers and discs.

..... but 14" won't fit on brembo calipers. Tried it, did that....;)

Only when you want to put the 14"'s on the newer models with the 15" and brembo calipers....
