I know I'm showing my age, but the first thought that came to mind was, "It's Howdy Doody time" :D

And I grew up 14 miles from mid town Manhattan. Climbing under my school desk to avoid the first strike. Like the swamps of Jersey would slow things down. What were the schools thinking?

Ah, the good old days.

Nope! But I sure wanted to.:ohyea:

Did you all know that Clarabelle went on to be Captain Kangaroo?

A couple of years ago I ran across a set of DVDs with a lot of the old Howdy Doody episodes on them and my Grandaughters like them so much they wouldn't give them back.

"Drop, Duck and Cover". Who can ever forget.... Now, today, my knees are shot. Probably from all that crawling around under the desk on the hard wood floors. I guess the intensions were good though
