Is is normal practice for a dealer tech to create a repair/trouble ticket with BRP ?
Even if for a minor thing such as a console switch ?

I am guessing its needed if they are going to make a warranty claim against BRP.

If they are to get back the parts and labor for any repair the have to. If not they don't need to get BRP involved....:thumbup:

just never came across this with repairs to previous bikes. Makes sense.

Yes this is normal. It gives everyone involved a reference number to come back to and may allow someone with BRP that has had an experience with your problem to help.
