Very interesting .... the one shown would only work on a race track tho ..... looks like 2 - 3 inches of ground clearance ....jmho .... Mike

Nice job but more of a race vehicle like Mike stated. Solo seat no storage, mirrors, lights etc....does scurry around....

Many are going to wait for the factory built reverse trike from Honda--if that ever happens.:yes:

It's cute... but it's not a Honda revere trike; until Honda builds it...

It looks like the exhaust tip has been VERY carefully aligned to get that rear tire up to 'sticky' temp very quickly & to keep it there!!

But I'm not sure that 'sitting up like Jackie' riding position would be all that great for actual competitive riding.... or riding on the road for that matter! :yikes:

Maybe it's a nice & possibly even an impressive engineering exercise, but I don't think it's a serious contender for anything much but a bit of fun on track days.... & even then, I'd suggest you'd wanta have your Ambulance Service subscription & your Health Care all paid up - I can see just about any excited twist of the throttle ending badly!! :lecturef_smilie:

I'll just join the queue waiting for the factory version thanks!

Had a vender (anonymous) who told me Honda would have a 3 wheeler in the next year or two. Time will tell......

I like it but am a bit confused. The video was posted in 2008 yet the article was a few days ago. Either way Honda should make a Rev trike.

Well... it's a HONDA... and it's a reverse trike... called the NeoWing... a leaning wheel design not targeted at the same demographics as a Spyder. Lastly Honda has not disclosed any plans to put the Neowing into production... http://motorcycle.com.vsassets.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/030817-honda-neowing-concept.jpg

Also... there is a reverse trike HONDA conversion called the HORNET RT that uses the CTX700D motorcycle as the base machine. You can get the CTX700D with Honda's DCT (dual clutch transmission) auto trans which is their selectable AUTO/manual rendition similar to the Can Am SE trans... http://www.lazydawgmotortrikes.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/MOTOR-TRIKE_HORNET-RT-8_RGB.jpg

And, slicks all around ... think I'll stick with the Spyder.

If you can get past the styling : the MotorTrike and Hannigan conversions are actually pretty nicely worked-out...

I would get a Honda or any Japanese trike (As long as I like it). Can Am did me wrong with a lemon. And I certainly don't trust the Europeans.
