On the tanks, either side of the ignition switch, there are two blank caps. Anyone know what they are for? (F3 Std)

Yes, the left side for heated grip and the right for driving light switch.

Ah, thanks for that, next question, where are the driving lights fitted and do you know where the connector for the heated grip is located?

I do have a workshop manual but have got nowhere with the location of connectors on it.

The right side blanks are for fog lights. There should be blanks up front and slightly below and outward from your headlights. The bikes comes pre-wired from BRP so you should be able to install both them and the heated grips yourself. Lamonster Garage has a video showing the install process.

They are fitted as dipped headlamps in th UK, which means I *should* have a spare cable way. Winner!
