I've had one for 4 years. I consider it a partial waste of money. I've spent enough on my spyder seat trying to get comfy I could've paid for half of a russell day long by now.

I ordered one for my 2012 RT and it's been in/on my drivers seat since I received it. I notice a much better ride!

I, too have had one for four years, and I like it a lot. Took a while to get the inflation right, but I find it quite comfortable. A lot cheaper than a $1,000.00 seat.

I bought one and it is great, and he key is the right air pressure in it . What I learned is the you want to "ride in it not on top of it" . I don't strap it to the seat, just throw it in the frunk when I need to.

Airhawk R here and I wouldn't be without it. Takes very little air to work well.

I have had one for years. Mine is the model prior to the R version. Worked well for me when I had hip issues. The secret is to ride "in" it and not "on" it. Inflation is key.

Love it!
Just remember that more air is NOT better!

I just got one and I am still playing with it. I haven't found where it helps much so far. The one thing I do like is it is vented and helps keep your butt cool. The comfort seat gets hot.

I have used them on all my bikes. I, unfortunately have no ass! I paid a lot of $$$ having my BMW seat rebuilt and it still left me needing more. The air hawk made all the difference. I could only ride 100 miles before the pain started. With the air hawk I was able to put in a 970 mile day. I even use it in my car for days that are over 500 miles. If it is for a guy -- be sure to buy the Airhawk R. It is especially built without air bubbles under your "nuts". The other airhawks were a bit too friendly when the air moved around. The key to making them comfy is to inflate them, sit on the bike one them and while sitting, let the air out until your butt "just almost" touches the seat. When off the bike it will feel like there isn't air in it at all. This procedure will eliminate all the "rolling around" feeling you will get it it is too inflated.

Well I just got back from a 28 day, 19 states and 9100 miles. I believe if I didn't have the AirHawk R, my butt would of been toast after the first few days. Not once did my butt hurt during the entire trip. I'm a firm believer of the AirHawk. Like everybody has said, its not how much air you put in it, but how little air.

A lesson I learned from camping on an air mattress applies to the Airhawk on my Spyder also. Use just enough air to keep your rear end from contacting the seat at any time. It feels a little mushy but gives best comfort over the long haul. My Airhawk has its straps running under the seat so it doesn't move around nor can it be removed.

I removed the straps and never used them. It doesn't move around at all. If I have any question of security, I simply throw the cushion into one of the side cases.

I do the same thing but I haven't cut the straps off. It doesn't move around because of the rubber backing. When I stop to eat, I just throw mine in the rear trunk.

My Honey and I each have an Airhawk - (Airhawk Cruiser R Large (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B013RGDGQ8/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1)) - his on a 2016 RTL and mine on a 2016 F3L and we LOVE these seats and not just for the comfort factor - remember less air is more - but for the single most important reason in the summer - PREVENTS SWAMP BUTT.......

I’ve had Mustang and Corbins seats on previous bikes andwhile they helped comfort none did as much as my $75 AirHawk. I never leave home without it.

I’ve had my AirHawk R for 5+ years on 3 different bikes. Makes a world of difference. Key is to run them very low on air. I don’t strap mine on so can throw in trunk so doesn’t blow away or get stolen when parked. For ~$100, can’t go wrong.

Hello LLC,
I'm getting ready to replace my Cruiser Medium and am considering the Cruiser R, like you have. I'm riding an RT and would like to hear your thoughts on the size of the Cruiser R. Is it too big? Or should I like it? Regards, Patrick H

I’ve had different brands of custom seats on multiple bikes and got marginal comfort improvement. An AirHawk does much more than any of them for a fraction of the cost. Love mine. Use it every ride. As some have mentioned they are best with very little air in them. Your butt should touch seat in few places. A worth investment.

I can ride 10 hours and no problems....took two 2500 miles trips this year and it has made a huge difference. before I could only sit still for and hour. Best buy ever.

I read that AirHawk is under now under new ownership and the quality might not be as good, so if I were buying new, I'd read the comments on Amazon. Just saying, new may be as good or better than old.

Just purchased another Airhawk. This time for myself but for the poor, old slow V-Max ( with a Corbin seat). I had a gel pad that my wife used on the :spyder2: untill we got the Airhawk R for her. But after a 4 hour ride today, I've had it so I tried the Airhawk. WHY didn't I do this years ago!!!!

I am back to using my Airhawk on the F3. I have a Cannonball seat, but I get a less strenuous ride with the Airhawk paired up. Went 150 miles the other day, and no rear pain.
