He is now where he is needed to take care of villains that went before him. Burgess Meredith149209,Cesar Romero149210, and Frank Gorshin149211. They were all great! May they all Rest in Peace!

now i started reading comics in the '70's and one thing i learned is no superhero ever dies, they do come back

there was a 1940's serial lewis wilson. it ran during ww2 & then late 40's if i remember there was a batman & robin serial.
