I'm in Gilbert and been looking for other Spyder owners. Weekends are best for me and my wife.

There are a few groups around the Valley but they tend to be inactive during our very hot summers. I suspect they will fire up again when the worst heat ends.

I am located in S. Tempe and could join any east side Spyders for a ride. Wifey also has her license and is chomping at the bit to go riding as well.

I am in Prescott. Really nice riding weather here now. I am going north to route 66 tomorrow. Hope the rain holds off.

You shouldn't really be bragging about your wonderful weather. We have guns. :)

Actually, I would kill to have a place in Prescott right about now. Great riding all around you. Have been caught in some ferocious storms up there though.

Yes, The rain can come hard and fast. 2 weeks ago we had almost 3" in 40 minutes in the back yard. It is just now starting to be good riding weather up here. Not a fan for riding in 100 degree weather.

Hi my wife and I ride a spyder. We live in far East Mesa right off the 60. We belong to several riding groups but would enjoy an East valley Spyder group. Let's plan a meeting to get the ball rolling.

We had a pretty ferocious storm several evenings ago too. The wind is what causes the most damage.

When I had my Wing the group used to depart the Valley at zero dark 30 (sunrise to you civilians) so we would get up to the high country before the real heat grabbed you. Then, all day riding in the great part of northern Arizona. Coming back in the evening was a real downer though. Several times I just stayed up north past dark but too many weekend idiots on the roads. Always try to beat the drunks home.

In Phoenix and would like to see a group get going. Although I get out a bit in the summer, fall is coming.
Thanks

We have a Facebook group named "Spyder Ryders Of The Southwest". We are based mainly in the Phoenix Metro area but we do have rydes out to the east valley and also south to the Tucson area. We usually have a 2nd staging point out that way as well. Sometimes a 3rd area as well when we head south.
Here's a link to the page. - https://www.facebook.com/groups/338523649674297/?ref=group_header

There's a SRA-Superstitions chapter in the SE corner of the Phoenix metro area; has anyone thought of joining up with them?

I don't think there can be too many local ryding groups. It's not like they are exclusive. The more options for folks the better I think.

There's a group on Facebook, Southern Arizona Spyder Ryders. We spent this last weekend with them at the Sierra Motorsports open house party in Sierra Vista. Great fun group.

North Phoenix, 51/101 area. I can get just about anywhere to meet up.

I saw the forecast for Sunday. May need to postpone. We were originally going up north but that is a no go at this point, also due to weather.

I would be interested in a meet up with a group of east valley riders. Since i'm retired and i have no special day or time to ride. The spyder is fun to ride but its better with other ryders.
Can't wait to hear from someone else that rides. 602 448 9374

I am very near Apache Junction. At 80th and E. Broadway in the Fountain of the Sun community. Typically I don't ride this time of year because of the heat. But I think I could be persuaded to maybe do an early morning Breakfast ride.....? When I started this thread a few years ago, I had a 2014 RTL. That Spyder now resides in its new owners' web. I switched to a Goldwing trike. Retired for many years so any day works for me. Open to suggestions.....

Hello Samson!

I am in Prescott also and am considering purchasing a Spyder. I would like to find a person or group to ride with. Do you ride solo or with others?

Thank you,

Frank
