147515I am running FOBO's on my F3T and I found the stubby rubber valve stems on the front wheels/2016 were somewhat recessed and did not allow a lot of room to screw on the FOBO's. So I got hold of a 1" straight stem and mounted it in the recessed stem hole. I ran into a bit of a problem as I have pictures below to show. The base of the new stem was a little bit bigger than the recessed hole. So I simply ground/rotated it on the grinder and just a bit of material came off and I then fit it into the recessed hole. I bolted them in and now have a bit more extending out and they are ridged and do not flex or move.
Next I have pictures showing the mounting of the FOBO on the new stem. Then I played around with a screw on T-valve to show how that was mounted to the straight stem. All of this clears the brake caliper for sure. Being that I have new Kendra tires, I left the weights on (one side had a bunch and the other not too bad) I am running Centramatic balancers and those will balance the wheels and counter the mess of weights for the Kendras. Once I replace the Kendras, I will be running only the Centramatics. So for any of you considering this, and you have aftermarket tires pull the weights off and let the Centramatics do their thing.
