Bombardier Recreational Products (BRP) and Surf Life Saving kicked off their new partnership with an official launch at the 2009 Whereis® Australian Surf Life Saving Championships in Perth.

More than 100 volunteer surf lifesavers from around the country were on hand to mingle with staff from BRP who explained some of the many benefits associated with Sea-Doos and the Evenrude E-tec motor.
Michael Hornby, SLSA Group General Manager said that the organisation was pleased to be associated with BRP.
"They have shown great innovation and commitment since coming on board and launches like the one held in Perth are just another illustration of BRP’s commitment to saving lives," he said.
SLSA Lifesaving Co-ordinator and Elouera SLSC member Matt Thompson added: “it is great to have an organisation take the time to give our members the facts and information on the equipment we use every week."
"I have spoken to a lot of other SLSA members and we are excited about fitting our clubs out with Evinrudes and Sea–Doos."
BRP have taken all feedback on equipment provided and used at the Championships and are working through some of the comments.
SLSA and BRP are currently working on the appropriate approval processes and are looking forward to launching the new-look BRP Club Rescue Program later in the year.
