Which side should be facing the ground?

The wiring harness should come out on the RH side of the bike...
I hope that helps!

The top picture should be the side facing the ground
You will see the bolts supplied are countersunk so will fit flush If you fit it the other way the bolt will stick out and could catch debris etc

Spyderpops will correct me if I'm wrong

Thanks. After looking at the pics you're correct. I'm going to need replacement LEDS as the gel/rubber is damaged exposing some LEDS

:agree:, and that puts the wiring harness in the proper place.
Thanks Eddie; for the better explanation!

Why exactly is there a cut out? Sadly looks like I have 2 LEDS out! I'm sure Harvey will make it right.

I suspect the grove is there to aid the production it may have to be used to allow the grove to be made at the front for the LED's as the non LED Bumpskid does not have the grove
My concern would be the grove could catch debris as the grove faces the ground when fitted
The best option would for a piece (infill) to be fitted in order to make the underneath flush
Perhaps Spyderpops will comment on this

If I remember from reading the site. The cut out is to add ground glow style led's if you like. It is so they are protected.

Well I understand why it is cut in the front I just didn't/don't understand why there is one underneath as it may catch something.

Just read the site. It is for extra LEDS
