I reckon they're fully adjustable to a "down" position, enabling the pillion to do the steering :doorag:

I think if you look at the bike behind him in the picture, it's laden with textiles. They pile them up and go to market and then at the end of the day, they have to ride home. It's a truck. I tried to find a picture but couldn't. I have seen one before though.

I thought most states outlawed them years ago. The hand grips could be no higher than shoulder height. Did we regress?

I could be wrong... but that might not be a bike that's being ridden in the U.S. :dontknow:

That would be me!!! I actually traded this one in a few years back and ended up buying a Honda Rune. I now have a F3. Having said that Len, MoLee and my man Scotty was all part of this project. I was a bit concerned with the leverage when steering and making turns however -- to be completely honest with you this spYder drove better (and really this is no bull S*$%) better then the stock bars with the 2in riser back in the day. This was a 2008 GS. MoLee used to have a video of me pulling it out of the garage for the first time but not sure where it is. I miss her but am very happy with the performance of the F3. XMan

I've heard of apehanger handlebars, but those take the cake. How does he control the bike at all?

I understand Bob you by no means insulted me at all, I did have a dream and fulfilled it.. As for control like I stated in my post it was actually easy to drive, better then the original set up, I can understand if that's hard to believe but really it was handled nice and super fun to ride, that being said heck all spYders are fun to ride.. The hardest part of the whole project was extending the wires, thank goodness for MoLee for he was the biggest help in that and Len handled the Bars themselves and the cables --- Man it sounds like I just sat back and watched, well that wasn't the case someone had to supervisor these to people.. Have a GREAT week-end guys and gals. Xman.

Actually I was surprised he was able to run highway speeds and he never had any problem keeping up with me, of course I'm a pretty tame rider :roflblack: Really it worked well and I was impressed But what do I know I'm the one that built the V8 Trike. As for the video Joe I suspect I lost it in a computer crash.

Here is a guy in the US with really long ape hangers. This picture has been around for a long time. No surprise that he is a HD driver.

Yah you can for sure. I could keep up with any spYder or bike out there, not a problem.

I'm not sure is more scary. The fact that he put them on the bike or that he found someone dumb enough to get on behind him.
