I recently got a trade up notice from BRP offering me to trade up my 2015 F3. I don't think so. Not after putting on the 2up shock and the Idler pulley kit. I'll tell you what, if you have an F3 and didn't put on the 2 up shock and the idler pulley kit yet, do so. I just installed the idler pulley kit myself today and took it for a ride. What a difference! Cruised at 70 mph. Vibration gone! And the difference between the 2up shock and the stock shock is like the difference between firm mattress and and a soft mattress. I prefer firm. So trade up? Nope. I'll be keeping mine awhile.

I've been getting those for a year or more. Will ignore 'em until I get 100K on mine or croak first.

A similar thread ran about a week ago. The consensus seems to be that no one is interested in "trading up."

The prices were blue book--no surprise there. The information asked for was more than needed. No incentive for me to spend another $15K - $20K to "upgrade" my ride.

I recently purchased a $30K, 2017 car. I traded in my 2014 car and drove off the lot for $11K difference. I thought that was a real good deal. When the car dealers can beat out BRP--that says something.

I've gone back and forth on upgrading or not. Did pretty good on a year-end bonus so I'm going to pay off the note on my ST. Only have about 17K miles on it.

I received the same mail. I'd love to purchase a new spyder but unfortunately they don't build one I'd buy. Any F3 or RT is not for me. Bring back something close to the RS seating position and I'll be interested again.

Upgrading means starting over. Do the new ones come with a 2 up shock? Do the new ones come with an idler pulley? Etc. etc. etc.

Same email here. Not trading, love the 2015 RT-S Spec.Series.Besides they don't offer a loyalty bonus or anything to really entice you to trade, except for starting over with a new bike.I'm with y'all,I'll keep mine.- Odogg1963:doorag:

I also got that email. Not gonna trade until my '16 is paid off. (Deanna has inspired me.)

+1 on that!

If if you trade your ST for an F3, I don't think you'll regret it. Except for the new payments. :sour:

I have no doubt on that. But the way I figure it, a year or two of no payments and I'll be ready to buy a low-mileage 2016 or 2017 F3 that someone didn't like or just didn't ride. And for cash.
