I don't think that they re-produce VIN tags: just the other ones that have the build data on them.
But I'm not 107% sure... :dontknow:

Great car and a great movie. Always nice to see or find the original parafinalia used in making great movies...:thumbup: especially the classic cars....

It's amazing how fast that VW was. McQueen passed it at least 3-4 times during the case down the hill.

I would have thought the Mustang would have been found on Margarita Island. That's where it seems all the old cars (60's vintage) ended up, as taxis with rotted out floor boards. Every time we took a taxi (a few years back on Margarita), it was 60's vintage, and one time my gf had to sit on my lap, there was so much floor board gone.
