Battery on 2016 F3 Limited

Just bought 2016 F3 limited and trying to find the battery. Manual doesn't help much

It's in the front. Remove the tub in the frunk and right there.

AAH you sayeth, remove the tub...well I took the plastic pins our and lo and behold the tub does not come out...what is the secret????

There is no secret. After pulling out the four pins (both parts of each pin) the tub should lift right out. On the top part of the tub (where the frunk lock is) is the top lip covered by that plastic piece? If so, remove it by pulling up on the corners.

appreciate the help but the manual says " refer to Body Panels" and that is not much help

You have to remove the black plastic below the headlights, it just pulls off and the the 4 plastic plugs and ....................it comes right out

Finally got it...accountant by trade does that explain the problem?
