My daughter works at an Allstate office, I asked her to quote a policy on my Spyder. When she gave me the quote, she told me that Allstate would not insure trikes. I was with Allstate for years, left when my agent stopped working with me, but had no trouble getting coverage for my Spyder. When did they stop covering trikes?

I had Allstate insure my Spyder. It could be a State thing, I am in Colorado. I no longer have Allstate since mid 2016. I shop around about every 2 to 3 years to get the best rates. I have American Family now.

I had allstate for many years and they covered it all.(did not have a spyder then just two wheeler) Never tried once I moved hear and got the spyder. It does seem random and guess they could do it but the rates would scare you away. Say....💡 what if you got a group together and went to them....group policy...:roflblack:

I got that same answer from my local agent a couple of years ago. I called their 800 number and got cover with no problem.

I'm at the point that I think it's down to the individual agent, my GS went through without a hitch, but then my agent quit and all my policies went to another agent. Because of him, I'm now with State Farm, but I figured since my daughter works for Allstate, I'd check it out. Think I'll stay with SF.

I am in Missouri and I have Allstate insurance on my Spyder. It must be determined by state. While I was in Florida Allstate wouldn't cover my RV. But now that I live in Missouri Allstate will cover it.

here in Ohio and my 2015 RT is cheaper to insure than my 2014 Triumph Trophy SE was. Only $18 cheaper, but cheaper is still cheaper

We are in Ohio.. all our toys are insured with Allstate, 2 wheelers, ATV, 3 spyders and 1 Goldwing that we converted into Trike and Slingshot. So we have 5 trikes.
And received really good rates also.
