I too had the great honor of observing the changing of the guard at The Tomb Of The Unknown Soldier. I had quite the lump in my throat. Never forget the fallen.

I watched the Changing of the Guard in person several years ago when my wife and I went to DC on vacation. It raised the hair on the back of my neck. I had not seen anything as impressive as that in all my 60+ years. We visited all the tourist places like the White House (from outside the fence) the Capitol Building, took the tour there. You see it all the time on TV but when you see it in person it is really something else.

I think everyone should make a trip to our capitol at least once to get a true idea of just how great this county is.
