In the Cortech mini tank bag thread, I noticed you had a brp handlebar bag. I don't see it in the accessory book for the Spyder. How do I go about purchasing one? Do you have a p/n? I did a google and came up empty.

Not to talk for someone else, but he may be out of commision. Maybe I can save him some typing.

He mentions that he got them from a skidoo dealer.

I was considering it myself, my dealer stocks some. You can never have too much storage. Hope that helps.

I was considering it myself, my dealer stocks some. You can never have too much storage. Hope that helps.

I've found them pretty cheap here (http://shop.4seasonsfunstore.com/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=CPSOS&Product_Code=280000094). Somebody sells them through Amazon, too--cheaper but more for shipping. Save 10 to 15 bucks on shipping (for a very light product) and see if your dealer has or can get it for around $27-35.

I was looking that the snowmobile handle bar covers he had on the Spyder at the diner. He took them off of one of his sleds. My hands went a bit numb on the ride up, they were looking real comfy.

Yeah those looked toasty! I had double layer gauntlets on...I felt like the abominable snowman.

The bag that was shown in some of the replies is correct. The part number is from the 2007 Skidoo catolog which is p/n 280000094. What I found though is when I received the bag it didn't look like the bag that was in the catolog picture. Nevertheless, it still looks fine on the spyder. I had to add some small velcro straps of my own that I had to hold the bag to the bars, otherwise the velcro ties that are on the bag are too short to work on the Spyder. I'm actually thinking of modifying this maybe by adding some velcro pieces on the back of the bag and the handlebar cover to attach the bag to the bars. This way I could eliminate the straps and give it a cleaner look. I'll have to think about that. For now it serves me just fine. I use the bag mainly for my sunglasses and tissues, but there is still room for other small items. This along with the Cortech tank bag gives me plenty of storage compartments that I can reach in front of me. I also have the Cortech sport tail bag as well for extra space when I need it.
The handle bar muffs that some have mentioned are also Skidoo handlebar muffs, I don't have a part number for those though. I used these on a Skidoo snowmobile that I had. They work real good on the Spyder along with my heated grips that I added. They do make a difference on those real cold days that I ride in here in the northeast.

Jeuchler, I don't know if this will work or even fit around the rear hand holds on the spyder, but I'm thinking about adding these oxford wrap around heated grips for the passenger on my spyder. I sometimes take my daughter or son on rides and it would be nice for them to have heated hand holds as well. Just a thought.

Yeah, Thats kind of what I was thinking. I'm not sure if that would work or not. My guess is the velcro would still have to sewed to the bag to keep it secured. I'll just keep my options open at this time. For now the straps work just fine.
