Good to hear for Michigan. The little woman and I rode today too. Central Texas was a balmy 70 degrees.

Funny, yesterday I want on a ride that was called "the last ride of 2016". The temps ranged from the mid 50's to the mid 70's and sunny. :ani29::ohyea::ani29:

My last ryde for 2016 (yesterday) was 73 myles, with a stop at a biker bar 25 miles south of home.

For the first ryde of 2017 (today) it was a nice 122 myles with missourigirl along for a seafood lunch at a fishing village on the Gulf coast.

No smilies on this post... I'm not here to rub it in.
YEEOUCH!!!! MY PANTS ARE ON FIRE.............................................. .. :yikes:

:congrats: for those that are able to ride. I am looking at about 88 days or so until end of March. It will be 88 days from now, give or take a couple weeks.

You sound like my grandkids...only 88 more sleeps! If you are like me and take a nap, that's 176 more sleeps!! Yikes.

 We're salted-in, and the temperatures are in the twenties... :gaah:
So keep on riding, and we'll live vicariously through your experiences!

I have taken a ride so far as cold 18 degrees with wind chill to 9 degrees .
I had Spyderpops hook my Rt for 12 volt heated gear. I did not feel the cold except on my face.
I got first gear suff from Ron.

It was a bit tough as the temp was only in the low 80's but rode my RT to church on New Years morning. Love Central Florida weather.
Never have to shovel sunshine.

New Year's Day temp was in the upper 70s here in San Antonio. Rode to a local park, then hiked trails for six miles, and rode home.

Good to hear you already got your bike out this New Year. Don't forget we have some Air Wings for your Spyders that will help keep you warmer and dryer in the cold winter months. They help deflect the wind around you or bring the engine heat on you. A MUST HAVE if you are going to be riding in below average temperatures. If you would like more info on these feel free to email us sales@bakerbuiltairwings.com or call us 1-800-451-9464 also you can visit us online at www.bakerbuiltairwings.com Be safe out there on the roads and enjoy your riding.

Spent a couple hours touring central Wisconsin. A beautiful sunny day but the temperature was about 32º. Dressed warm and enjoyed the ride. Check it out below.

That's great that some of you are out there riding! I'm so envious! Our last ryde was end of November. Longing for the Spring weather so we can uncover our Spyder and hit the road!! It's gonna be a long Winter here in Massachusetts! :(
Have fun!

I managed to whip out for a 6-mile check ride after installing a new General tire and proper trailer hitch on the F3-S yesterday, about an hour before the first sleet of what was predicted to be a bad storm by the Atlanta Weather drama queens. Turns out, as it often does, we only got a dusting of snow, but temps today are in the low 20's It was a balmy 32F on my quick run yesterday. Behind the F4, I was fine for that short an exposure.

Packing the Spyder into the 7x12 V-Nose next week and spending a month in Plant City, FL to enjoy some balmy weather riding and all the dance scene the snowbirds create down there.
