Now that looks nice! No huge oversized fender washers either! I can't wait to hear your review. I might break down and buy one for my trip to CA in September.

I don't know, tatt2r--
I just checked the other ten or so models they make for Suzuki, Yanaha, Buell, etc, and they're all clear.
(Any idea, Ev??)
Also, it'd be neat to (somehow) see a side-by-side comparison with the F1 shield.

Sorry you'll have to go to Calsci direct for that. Of course by the time you pay to ship your F1 to CA and wait till you get your new one shipped from CA it won't be much of a savings after all.

Lamont doesn't have the shock covers for the outlander.......looking around I am thinking, is that the only mod that Lamont DOESN't have? I am waiting to see how his SPyder performs with a motor in it from an m109.
The first post made it seem like the mod was a purple cloth....for just s tiny second I was thinking well he found some fibres that auto balance the wheels and keep em from deflating at the same time, maybe this purple rag is some sort of invisibility cloak or something.....lol.

Lamont...From bottom to top, how tall is it? By the looks, you can see pretty good over the top. Or, you don't care unless it's a bambi.

That makes my question..."how tall is it?"....a moot point.

I cut 4 1/4" off of it and right now it's about 1" taller than the BRP Touring shield.

That's Ron's Spyder. I needed it to do a install of the new risers.

Took it off and went back to the BRP Touring. Intended to take the F1 with me for the Interstates and speed riding (to get to destination ASAP if necessary. Then take the touring shield out of the trunk and swap it out for the local riding. Just too much hassle!! I might use the F1 when colder weather gets here.
However ........ I'm hoping Thibaults adjustable shield does the trick. Quiet and a calm envelope at high setting and good clean wind at the low setting. I can fine tune it in between the two max settings. I'll keep you posted and do a review when I get it...
