Default Auxillary lights (fog lights) for F3

The factory auxillary lights (fog lights) for the F3 are halogen, not LED. If you have them they can be upgraded, but I bought Lamonster's lights for my 2017 F3T. The only gripe is that the kit lacks the "heat shield" that comes with the BRP halogen lights. It is not necessarily needed with Lamonster's LED lights because they don't run hot, but the heat shield also serves as a trim piece that completes the aesthetics. In another post I saw that someone cut a hole in the factory covers that fill the hole when no light is installed. The heat shields are only about $9 each and are aluminum instead of plastic. They are different left and right, so order one of each.

Did you order the heat shields direct from BRP? Other than the aesthetics, how do you like having the extra lights?

Search for those item numbers and you will see several vendors that can order them. I ended up using skidooparts.com but the parts shipped from Flemington Kawasaki in New Jersey.

The lights do help with visibility, but the beams are not focused. More of a flood light effect. Definitely help you be seen!

Now, about your GPS and windshield- you like?

Heat "shrouds" for upper fogs. Click the pic for more details.
    >CLICK ME for the fiche< because sometimes parts are in illogical places!

I knew I read that somewhere, thanks for posting. Your method works for LED lights, those factory halogens would melt the plastic!

LED Fog Light Rings would do the trick and look awesome with the Fog lights. A tad bit more in quan though.
