New to the Spyder world.
I've been lurking around the forums for a couple months now. Back in September I bought a 2014 rss se5 with 2500 miles in pearl white. I've always wanted to be able to ride a motorcycle ever I was a little kid. But being a little person I knew that it wouldn't be possible with out a bit of added costs. The day that I saw the spyders come out 10 years ago I knew that it all changed for me and have wanted a spyder ever since. Now that I have a spyder I have a whole new sense of freedom on the open road.
I've been reading a lot on here about different mods that you all have done and they have helped. I changed the rss bars out for the rt bars. Doing that helped a lot with my riding position. I can ride the spyder the way it is now but would like to make it a little bit more comfortable. I've been reading and looking at the foot pegs and floor board kits from the vendors here but they all go the wrong way for me. I would like to find something I can do that would raise the foot pegs and brake pedal up about 2 inches. If a floorboard kit would do this that would be even better.IMG_20170928_205210_696.jpg

Welcome, welcome 👍
To both the spyder world and this one of a kind site....great choice... I have not seen anything you are looking for. Most in that respect have been for the passenger but not the driver. It would have to be a custom type mod because of the controls. In your case only the foot brake pedal. Should not be that hard to find a way to raise the peg or floor board and modify the pedal. You will find a solution the easiest would be some machined blocks to raise the pegs up and a block to bolt onto the brake pedal....

I know that Count's Customs in Las Vegas modified a Spyder for a little person. It was on one of their shows. You might give them a call and see if they can give you some ideas. He still rides around Vegas. Haven't actually seen the bike but there was a picture on Facebook about a month ago.

Hi, Welcome to our Spyder world. I saw my first RS SE5 in 2008 and it changed my world also. I would invite you to check out my website. I show a beautiful White RS SE5 with my Seal Floorboards on it. A great shot from one of my customers. The Floorboards are long enough to move you feet forward or back. The brake is raised about 1 1/2" above the Floorboard, and slightly forward. It's a very easy grab with your toes or heel. Check it out, I'm having a great holiday sale right now. I know we have a number of little people who ride Spyders with great success. I've sold several sets to them. Good luck and,
Ride i comfort,
John
