Yes, he said they all received the updated shocks and geometry.

While I find the new ST very nice, I'm really at a loss as to what niche it is supposed to fill.
The distinction between the RS and RT was clear but the purpose of the ST seems unclear, at least to me.
It has a frunk?

Any way to enter the contest other than Facebook?

Well Elkas and a Ron Sway bar will still cost less than a new RT!

Roger, I was secretly hoping the ST was for super tour as in an upgrade to the RT with bigger powerplant and shaft drive...... Oh well I wasnt gonna upgrade no matter.

Makes perfect sense to me........scratches head

I do like the additions to the RT, vented windshield, floorboards for the driver, wheels, adjustable air wing. Hoping they can be added to existing models. Just not enough to upgrade, but nice additions. Like how the RT-S has the blacked out treatment.

All the Spyders including the RT have a new frame, new brakes (Brembo), redesigned suspension, next gen BOSCH ABS system, larger wheels (15")
And there is a fully adjustable handlebar for the RT and I mean fully. You have three bolts that will allow you to move the bars in or out and forward or back. There's a new vented windshield and new adjustable side vents. Trust me it's not the same animal. I rode as hard as I could and had a hard time kicking in the VSS.

I would guess that the target is someone who wants to do some touring but still wants the sportiness of the RS. The ST weighs about 100 pounds les than the RT so it should have a little more oomph. It gives you the seating position of the RT which is attractive to more people than the "ninja" style seating of the RS.

Maybe a list of updated features for the RS and RT is in order.

I think the ST is going to reach that market that think the RT is for the older retired guy and the RS is not good enough for touring.
It will be for the concourse 14 and Honda ST1300 market.
They have a nice line up now, RS for the sporty folk out there, ST for the sports tourers that want to do weekend away and the RT's for the Goldwing folks that want to do some long distance touring.
For me the RT is still the right model but I know a few that have looked at mine on bike nights and would drool over the ST.
I will test ride the new RT when I can but would have to be a lot different for me to upgrade, I'm very pleased with my current RT Limited.
Nice to see them do some thing to move forward.

I asked about 1200cc...was told would not go over in Europe.

Some of us RS owners said how we would like to ride the RT to Spyderfest but have the RS to ride while there. The ST makes the perfect combo. The luxuries of the RT with the sportier look of the RS. I can see the RS becoming extinct in the next year or two.

Yawn
While I understand the changes Lamont mentioned I do not see better mpg or performance. Must just be me but I am not all that excited about the new models. Yes, they look cool, but I fear the same old issues as before. I will have to wait and see what real life does bring out. Announcement are all about hype.... Not biting just yet.

I figured someone would rave about the yellow in the RT lineup, had seen lots of people say they would like that in past.
I think that dark purple may be the one I like most. have to see one in person on that.
