Default 2013 RT SE5 maintenance advice

I bought my RT used with 29K miles on it. It did not have a user manual, but I downloaded the PDF version.

On all my previous bikes, the manual listed the maintenance schedule in a chart. Do this at 600 miles, this at 4,000 miles, etc. With this manual I have it does not have that chart, but says to do something after X number of miles or one year and something else every X miles and so on.

My problem is that I don't know what has been done or when, other than the dealer I bought it from said they changed the oil before selling it to me. They are not a Can AM dealer, but are associated with a Can AM dealer across town.

I'm not mechanically inclined, so will need to depend on the dealer for recommended service.

What would folks recommend so that I can get in sync with the maintenance schedule.

Any idea where it was serviced? That place might know. If not I would get it completely serviced (all fluids changed} now.

This is going to be a little expensive but I would change all the fluids (Brake, coolant, oil.) to give yourself a base line to work from. There is also a major service scheduled at around 28,000 miles. Have your dealer do that(which includes changing fluids). You now have a base line to schedule your service intervals. The current interval is 4600 miles,i don't know the time interval. Get yourself a notebook so your can keep track of what you do,and when. Then ride the wheels off of it and enjoy. These things are so much fun

    Default Let's see...

If you have a good dealer with certified tech's you should be able to go to them and explain your situation and they can go through it all and get you up to date. Do what you know how to do and let them do the rest. Don't have an RT manual but someone could send you a pic of the maintenance schedule...
