Step 2: 3,110 miles, 48 hours: Spyders in the Redwoods™

• Depart July 31, 2011 @ 0600
• Arrival August 2 @ aprox 1300

Step 3: 3,070 miles, 48 hours: return trip

• Depart August 4, 2011 @ 1300
• Arrival August 6 @ aprox 1800

Total miles: 7,600 + events miles
Nights on the road: 5

Hey doc i could let you in on a secrete if you want to avoid i95 over the george washington bridge in new york! when you come up 95 and get on the new jersey turnpike get off at exit 10 its for route 287 north go 65 miles and you will run right into the new york state thruway. you will see once you check it out on the map.

Doc & ryders-- your map shows you coming across east Texas on I20. IF IT WORKS OUT, there are are about 5 gas stations at I20 @ US69. I live 20min from there. Spyderfest, Maggie Valley, in the Redwoods, in the Androniacs... I work for the Government, I only get 30 days a year (yeah, yeah, I know the math is off, but add a week of taking care of home "honey-dos" )

I think you have created a new IBA catagory. That leg out and back from the Left coast is the equivalent of a pair of Bun Burner Golds. You will have to average 65 mph for 48 hours to do that distance.

I trust my Spyder and the mechanics working on her....
