    Lamont, you're a good man.......but we all knew that. Not even one of your products and you still went to the trouble of making an install video. Thanks very much

    Default Idler

    Thanks that was most helpful. Really liked your use of the screw diver and hole punch.
    it was useful to see the tolerances and alignment to the belt.
    Thanks again

    Really good video! Quick couple of questions;

    1. Should the belt alignment be adjusted before installation?

    2. How will this effect the belt tensions? Any changes in procedure when adjusting tension?

    Here's an install thread with the BRP part number Steven. It's your turn to go look at your dealer as if he is an incompetent for not knowing what BRP has released.

    There are two 13mm bolts that are already on the F3 holding the rear foot pegs. Those two bolts are also re-used to install the idler arm bracket that sits on top of the existing hardware and you just need to Loctite down the two 13mm bolts when you put them back in to install the idler pulley.

    Do NOT use Loctite only use blue thread lock

    Thanks, I actually used Permatex Threadlocker Blue which I suspect is a similar product to Loctite Blue. Loctite is a brand, blue or red are the strengths IIRC.
