I wonder how much trouble I could be in if I put one on each end of my Silverado?

Don't Spyders get enough attention out there without coughing up extra cash for vanity plates?

Don't have one on either Spyder, yet.
My truck has a Vietnam vet plate with F4D on it.
Plate on Kris' SS is a NC USAF Retired plate.

Bruiser....I'm 2nd generation retired Boeing-STL, formerly McDonnell-Douglas, formerly McDonnell Aircraft.
I didn't start there until the 80's, but in the day there were 75 F4's rolling off the line every month. What a workhorse!
BTW - My plate is "TRYPOD".

My favorite fighter. There isn't a fighter today that can take the beating the old Phantom, aka Rhino, could take and still complete the mission. It breaks my heart to see them used as target drones. I had the opportunity to tour the plant but a last minute deployment stopped that. If memory serves me there were 5,195 built.

Tid bit. The primary F4 C #410 used for testing and problem solving Nam war birds problems was at Edwards. Avionics seemed to log the most time working with it. Anyhow, some time ago I did a search to find where it was, and found it wasn't. It was crashed, if I remember correctly, back in the 80's somewhere in the Midwest. Ohio?
F4 jockeys from Nam owe a big thanks to those who worked tirelessly logging hours and hours of test time in an attempt to make their bird.....better.

Mr Denman - said I would put them up when I got them out of storage. Still cold here but brought them home today to get ready for Spyderfest. The dealer happened to have two sets of the variable wind deflectors so we added them right away before we left the dealer. But, being 40 degrees here we did not play with them other than to leave them in full deflect. BOY did I miss riding - it felt GREAT!
