WTB: RT BRP Comfort or Ultimate Tallboy seat

I'd like to upgrade my seat and am interested in either a BRP Comfort seat or an Ultimate Tallboy. Looking for black only.

Prefer drivers backrest and bonus points if it's heated.

Used is fine as long as there aren't any rips/tears.

The seat I have is an optional Comfort seat no backrest but is backrest ready, has the hole with the plastic cover on it. Item #219-400457, Part #708-001306. I had this seat on my 2014 RT. When I traded my 2014 RT for a 2016 F3 LTD, I removed the seat and replaced with the stock seat.
$175.00 plus shipping (shipping is expensive probably about $80.00). Seat is in excellent shape, no rips, no tears, color is black.

I do have an Ultimate Tallboy seat that includes the passenger backrest, driver backrest with a chrome fuel door. The seat is all black. No rips or tears in the seat. It does not have the heated seat option though. If interested let me know. Price $550.00 plus shipping. List price new was over 1200.00

Sorry Jim, but the last post in this thread before yours was waaaay back in August 2018..... Many of the older threads in this 'For Sale by Owner' section never got updated once the items were sold or sourced, some people just never thought of doing that?! So now there is a facility to mark them sold & close the thread up in the 'thread tools' option in the bar just under the title - but that hasn't helped much for the earlier/older threads going back more than about a year.

Maybe you could try sending a PM to lbrp&lbrp2?


As for your 'will it fit?' question, all RT seats from any RT manufactured between 2010 & 2019 are interchangeable, altho there may be some minor differences.... things like the holes for the rider back-rest & the moulding pattern in the seat pan - but none of those differences make for any fitting issues & you can swap & interchange as you see fit! The only RT's that DON'T have interchangeable & compatible seats so far are the 2020 models!
