    Default BAJRON SWAY BAR INSTALL

Installed the sway bar on my 2015 RT. what a difference. I have 12" drain in driveway. Removed the grate and positioned trike over drain. Jacked trike about 12" and old sway bar and new one went in like a breeze. Drain gave me about 18" of clearance. Just be careful not to drop tool or parts in drain.

Maybe I should add this approach to the instruction sheet!

    Step one:
Have local contractor dig a 12" drainage ditch across your driveway...

Kind of like those old oil pits old time garages had instead of hoists. Once had the misfortune of falling in one of those.

When we were first married we lived in an apartment on a estate. It had a garage stall and it was great for working on our car. That sort of gave me the idea for the drain.

Im having a hard time visualizing working from a drain. I just put ramps on the back of my pickup and drove it about half way up. I could easily slide in and out on my creepy crawler.

Love that approach the best... For us guys who have bad backs, that seems to be a comfy position to be laying on the creepy crawler. Now I have to go buy a truck and some ramps lol

When Its a job like the sway bar, where Ive never done one before, the ability to slide in and out easily is very useful. I cant tell you how many times I went under without what I actually needed or had to adjust the angle of my body to crank on something.
