Winter is upon us
Too cold & wet to ride this weekend - the forecast for next weekend looks promising, at this point. Guess it's about time for the cover.....

I feel your pain!

So who is riding the 1st? Going to be cold here but may be dry for a short trip. Probably just downtown to McDonalds I hope.

Sorry, I couldn't disagree with you more.
In fact spring came a couple of weeks ago.

I am planning a 72 mile (one way) for New Year's Day. The forecast for Northern California is clear and cold. In Northern California, 45 degrees is cold. As long as there is no rain, I will go. Wish me luck.

Sounds like fun and cold. Our high is supposed to be 32 so my ride I am sure will be shorter. Fun either way

We finally have snow to go along with my icy side road. So far, about 4 inches. That is actually a low number compared to what we usually experience. Usually a couple feet by now.
That said, I am now waiting for the snow melt to happen. March 31, give or take a couple weeks. I will let you know.

Winter is upon us.
I guess I won't be riding for a week or so, it's snowing and 16 F.
Snow should be gone in about two weeks!!!

Aren't you being a bit optimistic?? Snow gone in the middle of January??? Thought you had snow till mid-June or so....

Got out for a short ride today. Was 13 degrees this morning when I left a little after 6am. What a blast. Glad it was only about 6 miles. Roads were dry and no gravel. Summer is just around the corner
